Marvin Windows and Doors Ranks Highest In Satisfying Architects According To J.D. Power and Associates Study WARROAD, Minn. – An inaugural study conducted by J.D. Power and Associates and McGraw-Hill Construction ranks Marvin Windows and Doors highest among residential window and patio door manufacturers in satisfying architects. The 2006 Residential Window and Patio Door Architect Satisfaction StudySM was designed to provide comprehensive information to assist window and patio door manufacturers in their efforts to improve customer satisfaction. Overall architect satisfaction was based on performance in six factors. They are (in order of importance): features and design; performance; sales and marketing support; architectural design support; warranty; and price. Marvin received the highest ratings in four of the most heavily weighted satisfaction categories: features and design; performance; sales and marketing; and architectural design support. "As the lead designers, architects play a critical role in bringing people's homes to life," said Susan Marvin, president, Marvin Windows and Doors. "We value the opinion of these experts, which makes this recognition exceptionally rewarding. We will continue to strive to exceed expectations and maintain our company's core commitment to customer satisfaction." The 2006 Residential Window and Patio Door Architect Satisfaction Study was based on responses from 712 architects. Each respondent evaluated up to two manufacturers of windows and patio doors they specify for projects most frequently. About Marvin Windows and Doors

Marvin Venting Picture Window Selected as Most Innovative Window Window & Door magazine recognizes Marvin Windows and Doors with Crystal Achievement Award for innovation in product technology and design WARROAD, Minn. - August 18, 2006 – Window & Door magazine named Marvin Windows and Doors’ new Venting Picture Window as the recipient of the Most Innovative Window – Large Manufacturer award as part of its annual Crystal Achievement Awards program. "Marvin’s venting picture window operates in a whole new way, and its innovative design clearly impressed our panel of industry judges," says John Swanson, Window & Door Editor/Associate Publisher. "It’s refreshing to see a company take a completely different approach to solve a particular challenge. Marvin has done more than create a window that enables homeowners to enjoy both fresh air and large, unobstructed views. I suspect they have also inspired others to look at new alternatives in window design." The Crystal Achievement Awards recognize unique innovations in product technology, manufacturing and marketing. Each year’s award-winners are featured in the September issue of Window & Door magazine. This year, the award will be presented to Marvin Windows and Doors at the Crystal Achievement Awards Pavilion at the GlassBuild America: The Glass, Window & Door Expo in Las Vegas, September 19-21. Introduced this spring, the first-of-its-kind Venting Picture Window provides the unique combination of unobstructed views and cross ventilation. The window’s sash projects 2 1/4 inches outward to reveal a screened-in opening that vents stagnant air, reduces condensation and keeps out insects – all without disrupting the view. "Marvin’s Venting Picture Window solves an issue that has challenged the industry
for decades," said Dan Lang, product planner for Marvin. "Historically, homeowners
and architects have had to make a trade-off between enjoying big, beautiful unobstructed
views and ventilation. If they choose to install stationary windows with large
expanses of glass, they have a spectacular view but windows that can’t open. The
alternative was to mull multiple operating units to achieve ventilation, but then
screens, hardware and mull posts would interfere with the view. With Marvin’s
Venting Picture Window, there are no more trade-offs."

06.07.04 Marvin Windows and Doors Wins National Award for Excellence in Workplace Learning and Development Integrity Current Press Releases 08.31.04 Integrity Windows and Doors Opens New Plant in Roanoke, VA 08.23.04 Integrity Windows and Doors Awarded ISO 9001:2000 Certification and VPP Star
Award
Recognition signals company's commitment to high standards of excellence August 17, 2004, Fargo, N.D. - Integrity Windows and Doors today held a private
ceremony to celebrate two notable accomplishments at its Fargo manufacturing facility:
ISO 9001:2000 certification and receipt of the Occupational Safety and Health
Administration (OSHA) Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Star Award. North Dakota
Governor John Hoeven, OSHA Safety Engineer Bill Wright, and CRS Registrars, Inc.
President Bill Niedzwiecki were on hand to make the announcement.
ISO 9001:2000 is an internationally-recognized standard that provides assurance,
from an independent auditor, that a company has the systems and processes in place
to consistently manufacture products of high quality. The VPP recognizes manufacturing
facilities in all industries who implement exemplary safety programs that go above
and beyond basic OSHA standards to protect the health and safety of their workforce.
"Today's announcement clearly demonstrates Integrity's commitment to the highest
standards of safety and quality," said George Marvin, president of Integrity Windows
and Doors. "Our ISO certification assures our customers that they can expect consistent,
superior quality products from an industry leader. The VPP Star award signifies
our commitment to make the health and safety of our associates a top priority.
It gives me great pride to accept both of these awards, and I'd like to thank
all of our associates for their continued pursuit of excellence."
ISO 9001:2000 Certification
CRS Registrars, Inc., an independent ISO 9001 quality system registrar, certified Integrity Windows and Doors as ISO 9001:2000 compliant following a rigorous, six-part audit to assess the company's quality assurance systems against ISO certification requirements. To be in compliance with ISO standards, Integrity had to demonstrate its use of well-documented and highly-disciplined controls and processes to ensure consistency and predictability of product quality. Audits are then performed on an annual basis to demonstrate that Integrity can maintain and improve upon the quality standards. "Integrity's ISO certification confirms that we subscribe to the most stringent
quality control standards," said George Marvin. "We have the systems and processes
in place to manufacture products that consistently meet - and exceed - our customers'
expectations for quality. ISO is only the beginning of our pursuit of continuous
improvement. As an industry leader, we are continually looking for ways to improve
upon our product quality and raise the standard of excellence."
Voluntary Protection Program Star Award
Integrity Windows and Doors is one of only a few companies in North Dakota to
receive OSHA's VPP Star award. Established in 1982, the program promotes a cooperative
effort between management, employees and OSHA to ensure a safe and healthy work
environment. Of the six million manufacturing facilities regulated by OSHA in
the United States, approximately 1,000 facilities have been awarded VPP Star status.
OSHA awarded Integrity's VPP status after conducting a comprehensive assessment
of the company's safety processes and procedures, and an intensive on-site audit
by a three-member federal inspection team.
"I commend all of our associates for partnering with OSHA to ensure Integrity
Windows and Doors provides the safest and healthiest work environment possible,"
said George Marvin. "Their dedication and commitment is the reason for our leadership
status in safety excellence and performance."
Integrity Windows and Doors is one of four Marvin Companies' facilities that
have been recognized through OSHA's VPP. Three Marvin Windows and Doors' facilities
in Warroad, Minn.; Ripley, Tenn. and Grafton, N.D. have also been VPP-certified.
Finally, Integrity's Inswing French Doors feature the following options and accessories:
